As per ASSOCHAM reports, less than five percent of e-Waste gets recycled by government approved and formal organizations while the rest 95 percent fall into the hands of informal sector dominated by poor infrastructure and framework. In addition to its highly adept facility, Khanija has partnered with a South Korean smelter where it export’s rejected PCBs, a waste in the formal and informal industry for the final disposal or for recycling. Moreover, all the ferrous and non-ferrous metals will be disposed to the authorized recyclers in domestic market and precious metal extraction from rejected PCBs will be exported to smelters in Korea and Belgium.

Khanija Recycling stands out in a distinguished light. Unlike its competitors, this company has approvals for Consent for Establishment (CFE) and Consent for Operation (CFO), Registration and authorization from Karnataka State Pollution Control Board for collection and dismantling of e-Waste for 1350 MT per annum.
