Royal Enfield has announced the Goan Classic 350, a bobber-influenced version of the popular Classic 350, ahead of its price announcement at the Motoverse event. Four pretty dual-tone options are offered on the new motorcycle: Rave Red, Trip Teal, Purple Haze, and Shock Black.
The Goan Classic 350 retains the same foundation as the standard Classic 350, but this includes the double down-tube chassis. The bike houses several design changes which will make it stand out with its distinct bobber aesthetic. It features an overhang seat with a removable pillion seat that enhances the look of the bike as a bobber.
The headlamp is LED unit, and the semi-digital instrument console is shared with the Classic 350. The ape handlebars and forward-set footpegs along with lowered seat height of 750mm will make Goan Classic 350 stand out. The white-walled tires, slash cut silencer add a retro charm to this beauty. It even gets tubeless wire-spoke wheels for some practical benefits like the ease of puncture handling.
Under the skin, the Goan Classic 350 runs with the same 349 cc J-series single-cylinder air-cooled engine which churns out 20 bhp and 27 Nm of torque, riding alongside a 5-speed gearbox. The suspension is taken care of by a telescopic fork and twin shock absorbers at the back, while the bike is managed to a halt by disc brakes both at the front and rear, completing the braking setup. It weighs about 197 kgs when fully fueled.
Motoverse will formally announce the price of the Goan Classic 350 on November 23. In the bobber motorcycle segment, the Goan Classic 350 will face direct competition from the Jawa Perak.
