This two day event is designed to strengthen collaboration between India’s academic institutions, research and development organizations, and the Armed Forces. The goal is to develop advanced, homegrown technologies that meet the future needs of national defence.

Representatives from 62 leading academic institutions including IISc, IITs, IIITs, and private tech institutes, gathered for the event. During his address, General Chauhan emphasized how modern warfare is evolving beyond traditional battlefields, highlighting the importance of integrated and indigenous technology solutions. He encouraged academia, startups, and industry players to work together as a unified force to push India to the forefront of global defence innovation.
