Watermark Sustainability Foundation: Dedicated To Designing And Implementing Unique RWH Conservation Systems
Rainwater harvesting is a unique process of cultivation that includes the collection, storage, and distribution of rainwater for multiple uses. The collected water can be used directly or divert-ed for borewell or groundwater recharge. Since rainwater is the ultimate source of fresh water and it can be stored for a limited period of a year, a sound process for conservation is a necessity in the country to-day. This leaves little scope for recharging the groundwater which results in water scarcity in most parts of the country.
