Anamika Sahu, Managing EditorNothing goes off the radar, even learning; and when it’s learning with fun, the lesson stays with us for long. This stands true even for the corporate world where employees struggle to take time out of their busy schedule to get certified training programs on the go – eLearning. But in the true sense, how many of us use the learning in our daily lives – both professional and personal? The quintessence is that despite most of us clearing such certification programs, we rarely use them to overcome our daily challenges.
While working on our current edition of ‘20 Most Promising Corporate Outbound Training Providers – 2019’, we had rounds of discussions with not just the service providers but even the professionals availing their services to know their views on the rising trend of corporate outbound training and how successfully it imprints the learning on the learners. Majority of these professionals vouched on the outbound training programs to leave a long lasting impression on them as the learning becomes easy, and its implementation is just the matter of time and circumstances.

All these while, training for the employees comprising of technical and other skills formed the major portion of the course; but today soft skill and leadership training even for managerial level is witnessing a spur. What has been more interesting is to see the hockey stick growth of experiential learning, which helps the learners engage in practical forms with fun, while allowing the training providers to measure the participants’ reaction during training, their learning in terms of content of the training, use of newly learnt skills and knowledge when on the job and even the organization’s RoI on these training programs. While most training providers end their course with certificate distribution, there are only a fewwho handholds their students till they learn and grow and achieve the motive of such training exercise. Read to know about such companies in our current edition.
