In India, the design services segment plays a significant role in the electronics system design and manufacturing (ESDM) sector. According to a study by the India Electronics and Semiconductor Association (IESA), the contribution of design services to the ESDM sector grew steadily over the past few years. In spite of an increase in domestic production, the import of electronics into India continues unabated. However, that is about to change with start-ups like EDS India setting new frontiers in in-house products and designs. EDS is founded and guided by Mr. Santanu Roy (MD), with more than 25 years of industry experience in Project Management, Designing for Analog & Digital Circuits, Embedded Controls, Power electronics, Hardware & Software Development. Santanu started his career in 1996, working with hard core design companies. He has designed and successfully delivered various embedded hardware and software products/technologies to the global market, holding 3 international patents and 1 Indian Patent in his name. He also holds a Bachelor of Technology degree and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from Symbiosis, Pune.

With its patented solution for RGB video wall, now video walls can be Made in India, doing away with imports from China or other countries. This development caters to the needs of Indian Railways and Airport for Video wall display for Flight / Train Information for which earlier they had to depend on imported goods troubled with reliability and maintainability issues. More so, with the development of highly efficient digital SMPS based EV charger up to 2KW, EDS India deliver stremendous power savings to the nation. These chargers connected in millions on the grid, with an efficiency of more than 93%, the power savings achieved are off the records.

Santanu is further supported by professionals of the field. Mr. Vijay Kumar carries with him more than 23 Years of Experience in Operations, Customer support and back-office. Mr. Kumar is the backbone to this growing organization. Prior to EDS-INDIA Mr. Kumar worked with some major players servicing the Indi- an Railways in Passenger information System.

With More than 8 Years of Experience in Embedded Design, Mr. DileepSingh and Mr. Naveen Dagarplay a key role in defining the projects and executing the design activities taking care of EDS India's end customer requirement. Mr. Singh is also a certified Auditor from Quality Austria for company's ISO Process.

More Futuristic Innovations Ahead
