ITC Hotels' Welcomhotel Brand Expands with 25 Properties Across India
ITC Hotels has announced the opening of its 25th property under the Welcomhotel brand, marking a significant milestone in the company's expansion strategy. The latest addition, Welcomhotel Belagavi in Karnataka, exemplifies ITC Hotels' 'asset-right' expansion approach and its ability to cater to diverse market demands.
The Welcomhotel brand has been a key growth driver for ITC Hotels. Over the past five years (FY 2019-20 to FY 2023-24), the brand has launched seven managed hotels and three owned assets, totaling 916 keys. In the last financial year alone, four new management deals comprising 406 keys were signed, with these properties set to open over the next four to five years.

Welcomhotel Belagavi features 116 rooms and offers nine venues, including two grand ballrooms, a conference room, and an open sky deck. The property also provides an array of dining options, such as WelcomCafe, an all-day dining restaurant serving global and Indian regional cuisine; Dough & Co., a deli offering freshly baked treats and beverages; and Swizzle Bar, where guests can enjoy classic and signature cocktails paired with finger food. The WelcomSthalika menu highlights local dishes from North Karnataka.
