Bengaluru Becomes Catalyst Brands' Global Engine as Hiring Drive Kicks Off

Catalyst Brands, formed through the merger of JCPenney and SPARC Group, has officially launched its India operations under the new entity Catalyst Brands Business Services Ltd. The Bengaluru-based global capability centre (GCC) will serve as a hub for the company’s six iconic retail brands  JCPenney, Aéropostale, Brooks Brothers, Eddie Bauer, Lucky Brand, and Nautica.

The new GCC will leverage India’s expertise across IT, digital and ecommerce, supply chain, finance, marketing, analytics, and payment systems to drive efficiency and innovation for Catalyst Brands’ global operations. The centre is expected to play a key role in delivering growth and operational excellence to over 60 million customers worldwide.

“India is not just supporting Catalyst Brands it’s helping shape its future”, said Marc Rosen, Chief Executive Officer of Catalyst Brands. The company, valued at $9 billion, operates 1,800 stores with a strong presence in ecommerce and wholesale.

With more than 700 associates and a legacy of operational excellence, the Bengaluru centre will accelerate the company’s transformation by streamlining operations, embedding standardisation, and enabling faster collaboration. “Our Bengaluru team will be instrumental in building technology and enterprise systems for our global ecosystem”, added Kevin Harper, Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer.
