Founder & CEO
The journey began in 2012 as MapleGraph, a software service company and in 2014 they developed a restaurant POS software ‘Maple POS’, which was acquired by a leading industry player in 2015. The core team was acquihired to lead Maple POS. However, after the acquiring company chose to discontinue this new vertical, the founding team transitioned and launched Queuebuster in 2016, with a broader vision to create a versatile, industry agnostic POS solution. “Developing a product to meet the diverse needs of various sectors was challenging, leading to six years of steady, bootstrapped growth. Today, we support over 65,000 merchants and have expanded into the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Nigeria, and Nepal. The product continues to evolve, adapting to new use cases and the diverse needs of its global clientele”, shares Varun Tangri, Chief Executive Officer.
Transforming Retail Technology
Queuebuster is an Android-based point-of-sale (POS) software designed for businesses of all kinds. Whether in a restaurant, retail store, or a specialty shop, it streamlines operations by providing a comprehensive solution for generating invoices (billing), managing inventory, tracking stocks, and handling CRM and loyalty programs. The company sets itself apart from competitors with its Android-based POS software, allowing businesses to operate directly from mobile devices or any Android POS machine,
eliminating the need for expensive Windows based desktops or laptops. This significantly lowers hardware and software costs, making it affordable and easily accessible. The software is also user-friendly, with a simple and intuitive interface, unlike the complex interfaces of many Windows-based systems. Additionally, it is space efficient, making it the ideal choice for small setups like food trucks or kiosks.
Queuebuster’s POS software stands out for its seamless integration capabilities and advanced use of emerging technologies, making it an ideal solution for businesses. With a robust API stack, it integrates with over 50 software and hardware providers, allowing it to work smoothly with various systems. It is compatible with leading ERP platforms, ensuring easy data flow across different operational areas. It also supports direct integration with major payment gateways & companies, simplifying payment processing. Additionally, it connects with e-commerce platforms, offering a centralized view of online and offline sales, and delivering an omni-channel experience for merchants.
To enhance functionality, the company leverages AI and cloud technologies. It uses AI-driven predictive analytics to help businesses optimize inventory management and store operations by analyzing sales data and offering insights into purchasing and stock management. It also plans to integrate generative AI for automatically creating product images, and simplifying catalog management. On the cloud front, the company’s infrastructure is designed for scalability and security, featuring advanced cybersecurity measures to protect against data breaches. This setup allows businesses to expand seamlessly while maintaining a secure, reliable backend.
Further, Queuebuster is poised for significant growth as it expands its POS solutions internationally. The company is particularly enthusiastic about its geographical expansion outside India, having witnessed increased interest from foreign businesses over the past two years. “We aim to establish ourselves as a prominent global SaaS provider, focusing on leveraging our Android-based software for global reach. Additionally, we are forging partnerships in Africa, and Nigeria and exploring opportunities in Dubai”, concludes Varun.
