Seizing this perfect opportunity, exponent dynamix began their journey to train people and make them efficient with their sustainable Learning Solutions and systems and help businesses save time and cost of the operations in the learning and knowledge management areas, through strategic deployment of technology and services.

As a result, team exponent dynamix acquired over 50 large sized customers in the first year of operation which were across industry verticals- large BPO and shared services providers, BFSI players,Logistics, FMCG players, Pharmaceutical companies, Retail and Manufacturing enterprises. Needless to say, they played a critical role in creating capabilities within organizations through the use of learning and communication resources that empowered each job role and person to succeed easily in meeting their goals. Our work focuses on business and operational skills, capability/capacity development, compliance and performance. We also know from our experience that communication is an intrinsic part of engaging and motivating people to learn and perform. So that is a necessary ingredient that we render through a few proprietary tools we offer.”

Further to this, Gopal speaks on the key areas of team exponent’s work that encompasses Process training system and smart phone app named Exponent Konnect.

Exponent dynamix deems Process training system as their foundational framework and builds process learning and best practice adoption systems at the core. That is because a very large portion of an organization’s business operations (besides by people) is driven through processes which in turn are driven through software applications. Almost 100 percent of the organization has the need to work through such applications. Team exponent implements the core framework and with that established, they fan out from the core processes to then create digital learning assets for product, sales skills, decision making skills and subject matter knowledge.

“We work on creating an organization-wide managed repository of all such processes with capsular process training programs and app simulations. We render this to the workforce as hands- on simulations and audio-visual inputs that rapidly build their skill and adoption of these processes. We make the solution sustainable by making sure that the repository is designed for rapid response to changes” he mentions.
Besides this, Exponent Konnect, the smart phone app solution by the company leverages and extends an enterprise messaging platform capability to broadcast, create channels of communication, driving snippets and capsules of bite sized learning shots. This platform takes away several security.

worries an organization might have in using open messaging platforms and has extended features for creating ‘on the go’ workflows for collaboration and rapid learning projects. “This is one platform that has the individual and the organization grabbing learning on the go, be it as an individual,a work group or the whole entity using the simplest means to do so! What’s more this can be easily integrated with existing systems and applications within an organization. It can also be extended into fresh use-case based apps on demand and design,” he adds.

Within an overall enterprise learning context, exponent brings Learning management systems, digital learning programs, Authoring tools, Standard/Gamified assessments, Documentary Content management systems and a few more components and apps that contribute in part and on the whole to the core purpose of accelerating people capability, process execution efficiency and performance.

“Of late our R&D has proto typed a process blueprint feeder that can train a digital agent or 'bot' to perform simple process tasks and 'machine learn' to improve its accuracy of delivery with practice,” he further adds.

What can be counted as the silver lining of exponent dynamix is that they are an enabler of syncing up of HR/L&D, operations/functional departments and IT along with the workforce to drive clear vision and goals. A perfect illustration here is that of a large beverage client with which exponent had worked. The client had a massive manufacturing and distribution operation that ran on a certain set of processes. Their large workforce was adept at working with these processes that had been set and stable for several years. However, a complete review of operations world-wide with a view to improve business processes yielded a fresh blueprint. This called for a reconfiguration of their SAP ERP and a large scale implementation and roll-out that would impact most job roles.

Team exponent set up a PMO (Project Management Office) charged with Communication, learning resource building and execution of the learning and certification exercise for 10,000 users spread across geographies. A blueprint was designed to create role based learning resources. They worked to extract procedures from multiple subject matter experts in parallel using collaborative tools, set up communication to get friendly acceptance, rapidly built simulations and learning screens to cover 500 transactions. The learning resource was loaded onto a tracking and certification platform and a training help desk then set up rosters and sequentially managed well planned virtual classroom sessions.

The entire project from build to execute was managed from start to finish in a record five and a half months. 10,000 people were now certified on and were working fluently on the new processes. Even, the RoI on a large SAP implementation was secure. A change across the organization was rendered reasonably seamless and disruption in regular operations was minimized.

Across projects, the company has helped clients from diverse verticals ranging from Logistics to Banking, from BPO to Pharma to build capability, competency and performance readiness of their people.

Creating the Future

Amidst the progress that exponent dynamix has been achieving over the years, Srigopal enlightens on the statistics of how the company has grown by around 30 percent year on year and has served over 200 clients with their solutions. exponent works with customers across the globe through their virtual capabilities and enabling infrastructure. The company would look forward to partnerships in UK, the US, Middle East, Africa and Australia to scale and expand.

“On the straight path we are looking to grow to 500 customers. Under the hood, we could take a strategic pause to incorporate breakthrough technologies; specifically we are studying the use and veracity of Deep learning, AI and Machine Learning in our space. We are looking to embellish our components and frameworks with innovations in areas that have ‘horse sense’ benefits,” speaks Srigopal while discussing future endeavors. By now making the most of the opportunity, the R&D cell at exponent is working on solution prototypes that can zero in rapidly on specific skill gaps to feed the right learning inputs just in time to skill-up people. They are also exploring strategic investments that exponent dynamix can make into early start ups that have deeper capability in this area. What is more - exponent is exploring what the advent of a digital workforce or process bots will offer by way of opportunity. The team has found ways to set up process blueprints that can be fed to train bots and are looking to perfect that piece.

Trusting to be a game changer in the space, exponent in the coming days has charted out strategies to release two interesting products/services into the market – namely D’Ace and Narratori. D’Ace will enable subject matter experts to work independent of designers and developers to rapidly aggregate across artifacts, documents, presentations, incorporate sketches while Narratori will be an audio book series that would be produced using their tool to convert information into an interesting audio story format to get people learning through listening.
